YoungLink is being tested in Olomouc and Prague
In Olomouc, Prague 10, and Prague 12, we have initiated a partnership between the city, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and CzechInvest within the PilotInnCities project. The project aims to test new technologies and innovative solutions in real urban settings, offering unique opportunities for schools. One key area where PilotInnCities can directly benefit schools is in monitoring and enhancing classroom climate and student collaboration.
Pilot testing in the Czech Republic 2023/24
Thirty schools participated, and the majority remain engaged
The pilot showed that the app works not just technically, but also in engaging with students. Children were willing to open up and share their experiences, with only a few opting out. Using the data collected, we refined the app’s development. The process proved that when students are given anonymity and a meaningful framework, they provide very honest insights into their classroom dynamics, giving schools a tool to tackle issues before they grow into a full-blown crisis.
